I released a new shawl pattern yesterday! :) And there is an introductory discount, too, 20% off through April 5, 2013 with the coupon code "toffee20" on ravelry.
Toffee is a sweet lightweight shawl available in 3 sizes, a fun and relaxing knit featuring stripes, lace, some cables and bobbles.
This top-down shawl was originally designed for handspun yarn but has been tested with a number of commercial yarns as well. Heavy lace weight to fingering weight yarns work best for this pattern. The PDF contains both charted and written-out instructions.
Verity Shawl (Interweave Knits Spring 2013)

I have a pattern in the newest issue of Interweave Knits! It’s called Verity Shawl, I knitted it up in Valley Yarns Charlemont. The poor thing had a bit of an adventurous journey. It took one day for the shawl to get from Switzerland to NY, and then it was held at the border for about a month. According to USPS, my package arrived in an international container which contained a suspicious package and the whole container got held up… However, fortunately the story has a happy ending, the shawl got there in time for the photo shooting and now it’s in Interweave Knits Spring 2013 :) The digital version of the magazine is already available for download, the print magazine is available for pre-order. |

Lovely lace and lots of leaves make this top-down half-circle shawl a beautiful accessory to wear and a fun project to knit. The pattern offers a variety of charts to work, yet they are easy to memorize; the shawl looks more intricate than it really is. Wrong-side rows are always purled. The pattern contains both charted and written out instructions.
